Gerald Ginsberg, MD

Gerald Ginsberg, MD, has been a practicing endocrinologist in Rochester, New York since 1987. He received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School, completed his internal medicine residency at Genesee Hospital in Rochester and his endocrinology fellowship at the University of Miami.

He returned to Rochester to work on the Phen-Fen study, and eventually started a private practice in endocrinology covering Rochester, Batavia, and Newark, New York.

In 2001, he joined Sanofi-aventis shortly after the launch of Lantus, and has been working as the Field Medical Affairs representative for Upstate New York, while continuing to practice endocrinology in Rochester part-time.
