Ronald Kilmer, RN

Ronald Kilmer, RN, is the director of Patient Services at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, New York. Kilmer has more than 33 years of healthcare experience; he has been a registered professional nurse for 29 years. He holds national certification as a Certified Professional in Utilization Review. He has been responsible for utilization review activities at Nathan Littauer Hospital for the past 26 years.  In addition to utilization review, he is responsible for case management, social work and the hospital’s denial management program. Ron has also served on and been an active contributor to several New York statewide taskforces covering observation services, utilization management, and billing and payment issues. His model for observation services was widely adopted throughout New York State.
